We had a wonderful three night stay at Dovedale cottage, enjoying the perfect summer weather. The rural retreat was full of character, with all the necessary facilities and a beautiful outdoor seating area. The tranquil setting offered splendid views of the unspoilt countryside, and we loved being within walking distance of Carsington Water. The access to the tennis court was a hit with the younger members of our family, and we even spotted local wildlife. The owners were attentive and helpful, and the WiFi worked well. A truly relaxing and enjoyable holiday getaway spot. 100% recommend this hotel.

I recently stayed at a lovely holiday cottage for a weekend break to celebrate a 60th birthday. The hosts, Tim and Joanne, were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay at the cottages. The cottage itself was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The views from the back of the cottage were simply beautiful, adding to the overall charm of the location. I also highly recommend using the food delivery service, especially for their delicious burgers that were perfect for a BBQ. Tim, the host, was also fantastic in the tasting room, although.
All good! 😊

The cottage was beautifully designed and well equipped with everything we needed. The hosts were very nice and helpful throughout our stay. The location was peaceful and offered stunning views of the surrounding countryside. We also enjoyed the convenience of having a booklet provided with all the necessary information.
We would have appreciated having a chopping board in the kitchen and a non-slip mat for the bathroom shower. Additionally, better instructions for the hot water system would have been helpful.

The cottages were well-equipped and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The on-site facilities, such as the tennis court and table tennis room, provided plenty of entertainment for both adults and children. We even had the chance to spot some adorable lambs in the fields. The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The WiFi worked perfectly, and parking was convenient.
